CONSUMER NOTICE - CLASS ACTION
GET YOUR MONEY BACK FOR THE LIGHTBED THAT FALSELY REPRESENTED THEIR INTENSITY CLAIMS.
Companies are claiming over 5 times the real diode output. They are measuring under the plastic cover or are not calibrated (solar power meters were used, not red light meters). “The FTC Act prohibits unfair or deceptive advertising in any medium. That is, advertising must tell the truth and not mislead consumers.”

If you received a red light bed that did not deliver the advertised intensity, then under federal protection (and often state laws too) you have a right to a refund, financial compensation, or a return.

OvationULT Red Light Bed
I'm starting to see this bed at all the aesthetic trade shows and I had to review it. This is the fastest burn light bed I have tried. This has barely any latent heat which I haven't experienced on any other bed (not even 1 fan). The canopy red light panel rested on my abdominal area and was super intense. Sessions are only 10 minutes.  I rank this bed up there with Novathor and Lighstim.
See my OvationULT review here
Prism Red Light Pod
The Prism red light pod is one of the more affordable red light beds. It has 14,000 diodes and has 3 different wavelengths. If you want to get a bed that is multi purpose this is a great bed.
For those who want strictly red light therapy and don't want to
use up the surface area for infrared this may be something to research. About half the clinics want only the deep reds while other clinics want to treat as many different people with one bed.
New: Prism now has a led mat that is about half the power of their bed and more powerful than any other led mat I have tested.
See my Prism Light Pod review here
Lightstim Red Light Bed
They say 50% of their red is not even used and just taking up space. I disagree. I spread my legs out and love a roomy light bed. More people like a slow burn red light session once they've experienced a fast burn type. It takes about 30 minutes on each side but the slow burn delivers the rays slowly, not just by product heat. This has 18,240 diodes (the Theralight has 45,000 in comparison). Contact me to see if the slow burn type is best for your clinic.

Trifecta Red Light Bed
Right now, this is the most inquired about red light bed on the market. The people that don't mind getting something that is not 100% made in the USA and can't afford the Novathor usually end up buying this one, especially if they are sold on the concave concept. I would say this is a medium burn light bed. It doesn't jack your voltage up as fast as the ovation but not nearly as slow as the Lightstim.
See my Trifecta red light bed review here
TheraLight 360 Red Light Bed
If you want a concave red light bed and don't want a Chinese import, this is the one to get. This is the bed I would say competes with Novathor the best. For those that can't afford this brand the Trifecta is also a good bed or those that need a cheaper price. The TheraLight 360 is FDA Registered and CE Certified.
This brand has lots of bed out on the market so if you want to try one, I can find a location in just about any state.

MITO Red Light Bed
The Mito Red Light bed is the cheapest of all the beds at 22,995 retail. It is FDA cleared but not registered at this time of writing this. It has 41,600 diodes and claims it takes 10 minutes for a full session. This weighs 800 POUNDS. Prism weighs 320 pounds (about 500 pounds lighter). This requires a 30 AMP outlet. Won't work with 15 or
20 amp. May cause interference with other equipment.

LightWave ENVY
I really shouldn't even be putting up a review and giving them advertising after what happened but since the Envy is in the same class as the Lightstim and Novathor I am going to put my feelings aside and do the qualitative review that I am known for on their red light bed. Note: if you want a Lightwave Envy, I have people every month right now trying to sell theirs.  Contact me if interested in a used one and availability.
See my Lightwave Envy review here
The ReGen Pod Q8 Red Light Bed
This is a newer bed that I am starting to get feedback on. I see this bed advertised everyone I type in red light beds so I should be getting feedback soon. People always call my site asking questions about their lightbeds even though they didn't buy from me. I don't mind helping people for free as long as I get to talk about what I like to talk about for the equal amount of time. I have a partner who can get this bed and I will start selling it if I get good feedback on it.
See my ReGen Pod Q8  review here
Celluma Delux
The Celluma Delux is basically a bunch of Celluma pros together. The site says 5.24 to 7.01 J/cm² at proper distance. This is not as power as the light
beds that go up to 65 but it works and takes longer for a session to get the same amount of therapy as the beds that weigh up to 800 pounds. I have a steady supply of used ones at this time if anyone just wants to try it for a month - I can loan one with a deposit.
See my Celluma Delux review here
Novathor
This is the bed that started it all. Having this bed is equivalent to having a Ferrari in your clinic. I have not had any start up clinics buy this me, usually people who have had other brands and want to upgrade. This is the brand patients even call me up asking if I know anywhere that has one that I can go to. The feeling when you have done a session on the Novathor when you get out feels nothing like any of the others.

We hang 4 potatoes on a string at 4 different distances from the red light at 1/32, 1/4/ 1/8 and 1 inch.
We compare concave, zero gravity, and flat red light beds with our laser thermometer.
See potato video here.

Beware of thinking you are getting heat generating red light therapy when the heat source is from circuit boards underneath the red lights. If you want a heating pad, you can get one on Amazon for $20 dollars. I can even recommend a few heating pads :)

The Helios Red Light Bed
This is a different breed of red light beds. It is a true full spectrum bed.  It has 630nm, 660nm, 810nm, 830nm, and 940nm diodes. Most beds just have 2 wavelengths (one red and one infrared). I personally like the 75/25 ratio of red to infrared. This is a newer bed that I have reviewed and don't have enough feedback as of now to promote it. I don't have enough feedback so I  can't give this a thumbs up at this time.

The Solbasium Red Light Bed
This is a different breed of red light beds. It is a true full spectrum bed.  It has 630nm, 660nm, 810nm, 830nm, and 940nm diodes. Most beds just have 2 wavelengths (one red and one infrared). I personally like the 75/25 ratio of red to infrared. This is a newer bed that I have reviewed and don't have enough feedback as of now to promote it. I have done a qualitative review analysis on the bed but without feedback I can't give this a thumbs up at this time.

What's NEW
LATEST RED LIGHT BED CHANGES
No more high heat circuit boards - most people feel relaxed only because of heat from circuit boards, not red light
Lower EMF - now they run on 110 v standard outlets - no more 20 and 30 amp
Between 100 and 200 lbs - no more 500 to 800 lb red light beds
1/32 inch plastic covers - fewer companies are making 1/8 inch covers
Top canopies are closer to the body - new designs
prices have came down - advertised prices are the same but costs have came down
no more off gassing - they don't smell up the clinic like before

Red light beds now have frequency massage built in. This  eliminates the need for a vibrational plate session post treatment
Loud Fans - low heat circuit boards don't need fans anymore
ZERO GRAVITY SHAPED DESIGNS - FOR THOSE THAT DON'T WANT FLAT OR CONCAVE TYPES.
Zero gravity - Flat - or Concave? -How to choose

Concave red light beds are perfect for some people while other people are so positional intolerant it hurts their back to lay on a hard flat surface for an entire session. Some beds are now zero gravity and forms to the body's natural structure.

Note: zero gravity red light beds aren't for everyone. There is one thing that you need to know before getting the newer zero gravity type that you might not like. Session times are too short. Many people like to relax an hour. Most people don't want to get out in just 10 minutes of therapy

Lay on floor 20 minutes ON A HARD surface and see how you feel to make sure you can lay on a flat surface. Do this for a concave type and zero gravity type too. Some people have wide shoulders and concave can push shoulders in.

NeoLight by NeoScience
The Neolight bed is the most multipurpose bed we have reviewed This came out in 2023 and doesn't have any of the older issues that the early generation light beds had. I see them at all the trade shows I've been going to and people are now starting to ask about them.
Note: this is not for quick red light therapy sessions. Takes longer but has more therapies.
See my NeoLight review here
Tube Beds - not LED Diodes
These work if you don't mind staying in longer with red light tube lights. These don't have the tiny red LED diodes. These coalst around 10 thousand. Most residential users buy this type for their homes. If you are treating clients in a clinic I would not recommend this as it takes about an hour to get the same treatment as the most powerful one does in 10minutes

Note: Most tube type led beds create lots of heat. This is not from the rays but the overheated circuit boards underneath.
See my NeoLight review here
Almost all major brand red light beds have starting wattages of 120 mW to 130 mW.

Light
I've broken down the red light beds into a tiered rating system. Most people buy a tier 2 which are mostly re-brands coming out of China.
I divided it into sub tiers and the lower the tier the more drawbacks it has versus it's benefits. So, tier 1 may have a circuit board that generators too much heat or has loud fans.

Rating System based off the following:
Warranty, depth of penetration (thickness of covers over LEDs, excessive noise, too much heat generated in the room (the ones closer to 800 pounds can get steamy in there), how close the canopy touches the body, design type (zero gravity, concave or flat), customer service, off-gassing (Chinese imports often have a horrible smell)

For specific into on a brand and how it compares please ask.

Tier 1:
A --Lightstim Bed, OvationULT, Novathor (These have the highest grade circuit boards, lowest latent heat, fluence)
B --Prism Pod, Theralight 360,

Tier 2:
A -- NeoScience, The ReGen Pod Q8., Solbasium
B --Lightwave Envy, Helios,

Tier 3: MITO
90% of red light beds are re-brands from same two manufacturers in China and most beds fall into this Tier

Note: 99% of the benefit comes after the treatment with releasing the waste from jacking up the mitochondria from the red light therapy. Make sure you do this afterwards or the session will be all for nothing.

I am happy to consult by phone, text, or email to help you choose the brand based on your needs. I will make sure you don't get a headache in the process.

EnergyLounger Red Light LED bed - $20,994

I have used red light beds, the ones that cost over 60 grand each and this one is just as effective. This is a third of the price. This has the zero gravity design just like the OvationULT bed. I thought this was going to cost way more at the show I went to. I came to the show just to see this this bed and see if was any good. I decided to help them sell these beds. This is a huge change since this is the first company I have found that has a FDA cleared bed at this cost. Lightstim and OvationULT are the other 2 beds that are FDA cleared and cost over 60k each.

I am 100% comfortable selling this bed knowing there is a return policy if a customer is not happy with it and wants to return it. If there was a return I have a list of people wanting a used or returned Energy Lounger so I have no problem with someone trying it to see if it helps. 30 day 100% money back trial (minus shipping costs unless the next customer pays shipping and you ship it directly to them. This helps give everyone assurance that there is not cost to try this if you buy this from me.
I offer local pickup in Miami, NYC, Atlanta, and Arvada Colorado. Please ask anything you want to know about this new red light bed.
