Lightwave red light bed - Envy Capsule

I do not promote Lightwave. I used to promote Lightwave and helped sell many of them in 2016 to 2018 before I did my research and understood the physics of red light.

On the Lightwave site I found 2 conflicting pieces of information on their site. On their comparison chart (see below) it says 8 to 20 minute session times.

On another part of their site (not the comparison to Lightstim and Novathor which I get into later on how the chart totally misrepresents them. On the other page it says treatment times are between 15 and 28 minutes. I wanted to know which one it is and if they used the formula to calculate this or is it made up.
Irradiance = mW divided by cm2 and Dosage Time =Joules divided by cm2
IF you know their mW on the meter reading and plug that it I get a totally different number than they came up with for the dosage time (not 8 to 20 or 15 to 28. It is ONE number, not a between number.
Also, I don't like getting hung up on when I try to get the information from them.

Also, everything was cool before I started filming them at the trade show. I have no problem with this company. I just wanted to have a conversation with the person that I consulted with back in 2017 before he wouldn't take my calls anymore. I even got invited to the trade show and was giving a free pass to my first show to see their red light bed.

My toll free number has recorded all calls and I can even go back and listen to them with the original information on how to promote them over Lightstiim at the time. I am autistic.. I remember everything. I understand that the original irradiance ratings were done with solar meters at the time but it is not cool to get hung up on when I have a question about their light bed, especially when I was trying to sell them back in the day.

If the person who runs the ompany wants to talk to me (he is still there at the time of me writing this), I have no problem having another conversation. I am always open to talking to them and yes, I forgive for hanging up on me.
I called Lightstim and Novathor and asked them what they thought about this chart. You can imagine what they said. If someone is reading this and is uneducated about red light therapy, it is easy to believe the Lightwave is the one to get. I am tired of these charts. Every company has a chart and if you read their chart it makes people think their brand is the best. I have a chart too that I made. It has nothing to do with specs. I talk about cardiac drift, heat co-efficents, latent heat, itchiness (some get histamine going and are borderline uncomfortable. if you go in a light bed for 30 minutes that has a 65mw irradiance, very few people can sustain a 30 minute session. I had to get off before 20 minutes the first time I was on it. I can tolerate 20 minutes now though. The faster burn brand out there has a 20 minute timer. They don't recommend going on any longer than 20 minutes. I can go lay on most brands 30 minutes to an hour and I don't get into cardiac drift. If you study salamander studies, you will see why each brand has different session times and gets you into cardiac drift at different times.

Note: nearly every LED bed has the same starting irradiance. The difference is how it is delivered. A bed with a 1/32 inch plastic over the diodes will have about 5 times the irradiance as a 1/8 inch coating.

They are still using this chart on their site. Since they aren't breaking any laws and specs are not regulated like they should be, any company can get away with it. You can say 120mw/cm2 but where is that measured...right on the diode or after a 1/8 inch plastic cover.
This chart says a 8 to 20 minute treatment time.
Eight minutes? WTF? 99% of the people will need more than a 8 minute treatment time unless you are just trying to absorb latent heat from a hot plastic panel. Laying on a Richway Biomat would be preferred if your goal is to produce heat shock proteins only.
This one says 15 to 28 minute treatment time. Which one is it? 8 to 20 or 15 to 28? I plug in the formula once I know their irradiance ON TOP OF THE COVER ON THE DIODES AND GET A TOTALLY SEPARATE DOSAGE SESSION TIME. I DO NOT BASE IT ON THE DIODES WITHOUT THE COVER?
Understand input vs output mW and you should be able to understand this concept.
Contact me if you want to see the videos showing measurements from the results above. These were not done on a solar meter. There is nothing wrong with lower power levels. You are still getting the rays (wavelengths) but just not the fluence intensity. Slow burn still works, just works differently than a fast burn type.

What's NEW
LATEST RED LIGHT BED CHANGES
No more high heat circuit boards - most people feel relaxed only because of heat from circuit boards, not red light
Lower EMF - now they run on 110 v standard outlets - no more 20 and 30 amp
Between 100 and 200 lbs - no more 500 to 800 lb red light beds
1/32 inch plastic covers - fewer companies are making 1/8 inch covers
Top canopies are closer to the body - new designs
prices have came down - advertised prices are the same but costs have came down
no more off gassing - they don't smell up the clinic like before

Red light beds now have frequency massage built in. This  eliminates the need for a vibrational plate session post treatment
Loud Fans - low heat circuit boards don't need fans anymore
ZERO GRAVITY SHAPED DESIGNS - FOR THOSE THAT DON'T WANT FLAT OR CONCAVE TYPES.

CONSUMER NOTICE - CLASS ACTION
GET YOUR MONEY BACK FOR THE LIGHTBED THAT FALSELY REPRESENTED THEIR INTENSITY CLAIMS.
Companies are claiming over 5 times the real diode output. They are measuring under the plastic cover or are not calibrated (solar power meters were used, not red light meters). “The FTC Act prohibits unfair or deceptive advertising in any medium. That is, advertising must tell the truth and not mislead consumers.”

If you received a red light bed that did not deliver the advertised intensity, then under federal protection (and often state laws too) you have a right to a refund, financial compensation, or a return.
