Prism Red Light Pod
The Prism red light pod is one of the more affordable red light beds. It has 14,000 diodes and has 3 different wavelengths. If you want to get a bed that is multi purpose this is a great bed. For those who want strictly red light therapy and don't want to use up the surface area for infrared this may be something to research. About half the clinics want only the deep reds while other clinics want to treat as many different people with one bed. Most beds have the orange reds but I only like them if the projection angle is right. Nothing wrong with orange reds that aren't 660 deep reds as long as they aren't cheap diodes that scatter the light and don't direct it into the body.
FDA REGISTERED BUT NOT CLEARED YET - I will update you if anything changes. The bed will probably double in price once it is registered and cleared.
Contact me if you want to see the videos showing measurements from the results above. These were not done on a solar meter. There is nothing wrong with lower power levels. You are still getting the rays (wavelengths) but just not the fluence intensity. Slow burn still works, just works differently than a fast burn type.

Prism red light bed
This bed when measured with a non solar meter does not register 100mw/cm2 but it does have a low projection angle which focuses all the red light into the body. I put this bed in the top 5. It is not the fastest burn but not the slowest burn bed.

Companies are claiming over 5 times the real diode output. They are measuring under the plastic cover or are not calibrated (solar power meters were used, not red light meters). “The FTC Act prohibits unfair or deceptive advertising in any medium. That is, advertising must tell the truth and not mislead consumers.”
If you received a red light bed that did not deliver the advertised intensity, then under federal protection (and often state laws too) you have a right to a refund, financial compensation, or a return.
