Top complaints people have after buying a red light bed:

Fraudulent or Deceptive Advertising:
You will not get scammed if you know the intensity of the red light measured over the plastic covering. Almost all red light beds have a starting irradiance of over 100mw/cm2. The beds can range from 1/32 of an inch covering up to 1/8 inch.

USA made or China made:
If you want a USA made one, there are only 2 brand on the market that don’t import their parts and just assemble them in the USA. Make sure you know the differences between made in the USA and “made and “ASSEMBLED” IN THE USA”.

Off gassing
Smells up entire office
Most of the Chinese imports will have this smell. The ones made in the USA do not. I will not do a session in a red light bed unless its BPA free. Make sure you let me know this on my red light bed quiz. If you get the bed and it gives of a strong oder for several months till it is off gassed, I am warning you now.

EMF Complaints - the lower the wattage of the diodes, the less EMF it created. The red light beds that have the lowest EMF are the ones that have the shortest session times. These typically have a 1/32 inch plastic cover over their diodes and starting wattage of 65 or lower. 65 was the lowest wattage model we tested that had the lowest EMF.

I do not sell high EMF red light beds. The highest one I have tested is at 37 mG. As a reference, a microwave oven on low if you measure it right next to the window is 51 milli-gauss.
Note: a red light bed that is 65mv/cm2 (highest we tested) but has only a 10 minute session time is 650. You can have one that is 37mvmcm2 but takes 30 minute. Thats 1110. It's the EMF rating on the meter TIMES session time to see which one give off more EMF during your session. If you are concerned about avoiding radiation from your red light bed, let me know when we talk.

TOO HOT on my back - why?
The thinner the plastic covering on the red light bed the cooler it will feel on my back.
The beds that have the 1/32 of an inch thick do not hold the latent heat like the 1/8 inch plastic ones. The 1/8 inch ones feels super hot on the back and although this put the body into whole body vasodilation quickly you are getting mostly latent heat from the plastic instead of absorbing the wavelengths from the diodes.
Update: The high powered red light diodes are not what causes the plastic to get hot. It is from inefficient high heat circuit boards underneath the LED's.

You might as well be laying on a heating pad from Walmart and it will feel similar. The beds with the 1/8 inch will release more histamine causing the back to get red and you might feel itchy. The 1/32 inch covers don’t hold in heat as much but the rays go through and you get the wavelength deep into the body. (Study Salamander studies) and you will get the idea.

Top is too far away - I just feel heat from the circuit boards
I try to avoid any red light bed with a canopy that is more than 3 inches away. If you read Salamander Studies you will understand this. Call me and I can explain it also. I like the zero gravity types as they have closer canopies than the older styles.

Loud red light beds - fans
The older types and some that are being sold now still use fans. The types that have low heat circuit boards don't have fans anymore. The super heavy red light beds that have fans are up to 800 pounds and needed 30 amps to power them and cool them down.

I am using expensive light sensitive serums and I don't notice anything.
On most beds they don't work. It has to be a certain strength to activate a light sensitive serum and the room must be pitch black in order for it to work. Beds that have a low projection angle and with canopies too far away will not activate the serum. If you are using the bed for skin rejuvination and are using serums, contact me and I will tell you more about this.

My back and shoulder blades are in pain after using a red light bed?
Either go in for shorter sessions on a more powerful bed or try a zero gravity type red light bed

What's NEW
LATEST RED LIGHT BED CHANGES
No more high heat circuit boards - most people feel relaxed only because of heat from circuit boards, not red light
Lower EMF - now they run on 110 v standard outlets - no more 20 and 30 amp
Between 100 and 200 lbs - no more 500 to 800 lb red light beds
1/32 inch plastic covers - fewer companies are making 1/8 inch covers
Top canopies are closer to the body - new designs
prices have came down - advertised prices are the same but costs have came down
no more off gassing - they don't smell up the clinic like before

Red light beds now have frequency massage built in. This  eliminates the need for a vibrational plate session post treatment
Loud Fans - low heat circuit boards don't need fans anymore
ZERO GRAVITY SHAPED DESIGNS - FOR THOSE THAT DON'T WANT FLAT OR CONCAVE TYPES.

CONSUMER NOTICE - CLASS ACTION
GET YOUR MONEY BACK FOR THE LIGHTBED THAT FALSELY REPRESENTED THEIR INTENSITY CLAIMS.
Companies are claiming over 5 times the real diode output. They are measuring under the plastic cover or are not calibrated (solar power meters were used, not red light meters). “The FTC Act prohibits unfair or deceptive advertising in any medium. That is, advertising must tell the truth and not mislead consumers.”

If you received a red light bed that did not deliver the advertised intensity, then under federal protection (and often state laws too) you have a right to a refund, financial compensation, or a return.
